What’s a Digital Planner?

A digital planner is basically a paperless journal where you can plan your days, create eye-pleasing pages, share them on social media or just keep your favorite memories. You can use a digital planner as a diary or plan every second of your life. Digital planner is basically all of your paper planners in one spot.

With a realistic planner, you can have the best of both worlds: enjoyable, eye-catching, easy & efficient. You won’t have to worry about the words that you have to cross. And most of all, you’ll be able to type faster and more beautifully.

A digital planner works for every mood. Whether you feel like a slow day start, writing each and every letter. Or you want to be quick and productive and skip the handwriting all together. Digital planning will let you adjust to your mood and personality.

How to Make a Digital Planner?

Everyone wants a digital planner with hyperlinks. Clickable objects and tabs make it easy for you to access your favorite pages. This is exactly what I am going to tell you about today. Honestly, that’s the biggest difference between just a presentation and a digital planner – the fact that you can easily navigate by clicking all these tabs.

How to Create a Digital Planner with Hyperlinks?

You can create hyperlinks with Keynote, Google Slides, Canva, and Indesign. There’re so many different options. However, this time I’ll show you how to create hyperlinks for your planner with Google Slides. Simply because I feel like that’s the easiest one to learn.

Most people are familiar with PowerPoint. And Google Slides are basically PowerPoint. So without further a due, let’s just get started.

  1. Go to Google Drive and Create Google Slides.
  2. Create a notebook from rectangle shapes.
  3. Add tabs from rounded rectangles.
  4. As soon as you click on the shape, you can add a link. You can find the hyperlink icon at the very top of the page.
  5. You can link different slides so that they create different pages for your planner.

That’s it! That is the most different step from creating a presentation. However, I can also explain how to create a 3D effect to your pages. And also walk through through every single step of digital planner creation.

If this feels a little bit confusing, don’t worry. I’ve create a detailed step-by-step guide on how to create your own digital notebook in Google Slides. Just checkout this video over here, where I explain in detail, how to create a digital planner.
