You can easily import your digital planner to GoodNotes. Get the GoodNotes app first and then click on the share icon. Choose “Open in Goodnotes” and you are done!
However, after you have your digital planner file uploaded, you’ll most probably have other questions. Don’t worry, I’ll cover most of them here.

How to upload your digital planner to GoodNotes?
In order to upload your digital planner to GoodNotes productivity app, all you need to do is to download the PDF to your device. Whether you created your ow planner or got one from Etsy, the upload is basically the same:
- Save your planner to your device (or iCloud, Google Slides, Dropbox),
- Open Goodnotes app on your iPad, computer or iPhone,
- Go to top left side of the screen and click “+”,
- Select “import”,
- Go to the saved file.
The easiest way to open the digital planner on GoodNotes:
- Open your digital planner PDF file,
- Click the download icon,
- Choose “Open in Goodnotes”.

You can also simply send the file to the GoodNotes email:
- Check your fake Goodnotes email in the settings,
- Send the planner file to the email,
- Enjoy the uploaded planner on all of your devices.
In order for your tabs and clickable objects to work, you need to click on the selection tool (crossed out pen icon on the top right).
However, if that doesn’t fix the problem, then you could try closing and opening the app again. Also, if you have created the planner yourself, it’s possible that you saved it in the wrong format.
In case you use InDesign to create your digital planner, you need to make sure that you choose the interactive PDF file when saving it.

How to Download Digital Stickers for Planner?
- Click on the “Digital Widgets and stickers” black button,
- Select the downloads icon at the top,
- Tap on the zip file:

Click on the zip file again (that’s how your iPad will unzip it for you):

After that just open your GoodNotes, click on the image icon, tap on an empty spot in your planner and select “import from”:
